Should i join or destroy Dark Brotherhood

I looked at wiki but it doesnt tell me the pros and cons of both situations, i only know that i get Shadowmere if i join but all i know is that, so if a loremaster can list me the pros and cons of both situations it would be great

Make a save. Join. Play it out, see how you like it. Go back to save, load and destroy them. The second option is much shorter.

join, you get the whole brotherhoods crib and own it. Blade of woe, Lots of money for contracts that you do for them, Great quest line.

Lol why oh why do people ask others how they should play through an RPG? The point is to do it for yourself...

Joining has a lot more pros and the quest is more interesting, but if you are not playing a stealth tipe of character you may want to destroy them now and join on a future playthrough.

You kill that's it. Nothing will happen apart from the fact you got rid of one of the most favouritised guilds ever. If you choose to play it out then you will do certain quests, etc to get to the top. When you finish the guild that's it. Nothing really happens. This goes for anything in Skyrim or in any of the elder scrolls really. Something I hope they improve on in the future. I'm dragonborn for gods sake and people will still try to intimidate or doubt you. Even after the main quest, everyone acts like nothing happened....

Thank you all so much! I just wanted to know what i will get and then select the option that will allow me to get the most value. So i decided to join the Dark Brotherhood.

when I began playing i would ask the same questions. i wanted the opinions of more advanced users.. its fun to listen to their opinions..
