Climates Of Tamriel seems to make days always cloudy.
I'll post screenshots. I'm trying to mimick RealVision ENB. I installed all the requirements on the Nexus page, as well as a few recommended mods to spice things up. But after installing Climates Of Tamriel, it seems like the game is just always cloudy. I've slept, I've waited, I've visited other locations of the map, and still..Cloudy. But there's not a cloud in the sky. Furthermore, the sun doesn't quite look right. There are no rays, as shown in videos and screenshots. Maybe I didn't pay attention to the installation menu after activiating Climates Of Tamriel. There were a lot of checkboxes covering things that I didn't quite understand.

I mean, am I crazy or..Does it seem like it's cloudy? Like there's no sun? I was hoping for sun rays shining through green trees, with my flora overhaul mod making the green grasses wave gently, with soft particles swirling around themselves in the rays.. There aren't even any rays.

The last picture is my attempt to screenshot the sun. It's not even an orb. And this picture is of the mods I currently have installed. http://imgur.com/A35K3Ce

This is my first time installing mods for Skyrim, specifically. I watched a video tutorial on how to install this specific ENB, from Cam Robinson and Seb Ford. I don't know how much it'd help, but..I have a GTX 970.

Are you using NMM or MO? reason i ask is because not sure why the sweetfx. and enb are showing up on your list...those types of mods need to be installed manually and they shouldnt show up there at all... but i run Climates of Tamriel and real vision ENB and it looks nothing like your SS.

Another thing I've learned is alot of these graphical mods require you to install in a certian order..depending on what you plan to use for mods. So its like you have to make a list of what you want then install them according to authors description.

Well, I installed the enb series manually..For everything else, I used NMM. The reason why I did it was because the tutorial I watched covered a manual install of RealVision. But I am aware that there's an automatic installer.

So wierd its showing the d3d9 files in your MM

Should I have just downloaded Realvision through the installer, instead of doing it manually? The video was posted on Gamespot like a year ago..Maybe their tutorial's outdated.

For that reason I would make sure you installed the Enb files in the Skyrim folder not the Data folder ENB files go in SKyrim folder those maybe in your Data folder by accident?

I bet your ENB isn't even running you would see it load as soon as you fire up the game before you even load your save you'll see it load upper left of screen.

I get a message in the upper left of the screen everytime I start up the game, though. I checked the data folder, and there's no enb files there. I took a screenshot of my Skyrim directory just incase..http://imgur.com/hA7aeUl

Ok those are where you unpacked the mods at? why are there mod archives in there ? lol not sure of that would cause a problem or not..... maybe not but dam thats a mess in there lol I usually save file archives to a seperate folder and extract them to the dtat folder but hey...
Starchild Jun 27, 2016 @ 7:27pm
I have no idea why those archives are in there. All those mods I installed, I installed through the Nexus Mod Manager.

It's kind of hard to see. This is frustrating the hell out of me. Maybe I should find another tutorial, or..I don't know. But this is giving me a headache.

Ok def get rid of the archives cant hurt... I wonder if CoT requires SKSE ? Notice its not in your Skyrim folder...
