how to disable top left messages?

i use skyui and the messages pile up and i cannot see my inventory.
how can i comepletely disable the top left text that pops up whenever encumbered,
craft an item or anything at all?

bShowHUDMessages=0 under the [interfaces] section

edit the skyrin.ini file under C:\Users\<username>\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim

It does not disable location messages or quest related messages.

I can't find the interface section on Skyrim.ini, as the section is not there.

FYI, use [Interface] and not the plural.
