Rule of Thumb: Vsync (Verticle Refresh) set to always ON and FPS not to exceed 60. The game physics go wild if not. Sound default 24 bit 48KHz stereo and if Realtek then "Loudness Equalisation" on. If monitor is 120-144Hz then set it to 60Hz or adaptive refresh rate or some such from GPU utility program. If you can't then "FPS Limiter" from Nexus will do the trick. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34/?

Also, ENBoost should be doing that for you.
if you use the fps limiter from the nexus, you are going to have to proxy because it uses d3d9 just like the ENB. Id suggest against it, because, well theres no point.
I've downloaded the mod ....just to be sure ... but I'm going to look into those settings so I can improve my limited PC knowledge.
Expect me back here tomorrow with my "Where is Vsync? ...where do I find Sound Default? ...etc" questions
cfs111 ... that ENBoost bit .... are you saying I should not be getting such a high FPS if I've followed the guide correctly?
I didn't notice anything untoward when playing/testing ... just that I had a high FPS at one point.

@ Black Album Try setting your EnableFPSLimit to true and FPSLimit to 60.
Set my limit to "true" at 60fps and everythinhg looked ok.
On a different note ... a week ago those instructions would've scared me ... this week I inputed them with no fear whatsoever ...
Thanks guys ... and gals ...
