Getting rid of children.

So.. im tired of the adopted children I have.
(Lucia and Sofie)
Now i want to get rid of Sofie, bzut i have NO BLOODY IDEA how to.
Ive tried everything, commands, beatings, make her to chores for 5 days straight.

NOTHING.
Any Ideas/solutions?

go into console commands, type help Sofie, take that ID it gives you and type in setessential [ID] 0, and she will be killable.... Make sure to do it outside though, or a dead girls body will be in your house forever

Really? I thought it would work, although I've never tried it to kill children... Get a mod, I've seen a few about killing children... Is it me or is this thread dark?

There's probably a command to remove her from the adopted child faction.
You'll probably want to do this first if you plan to kill her, as she may still occupy the space after death.

Of course it is, i want to get rid of a child.

Tried it with a few mods already, none of them work out in the way that i can adopt another child "afterwards"

There is a mod that you can use, the name is ''Killable childrens'' the image of the mod it's a dragonborn with draedric armor stabing a kid

That won't work. The child will remain in the faction for adopted children after death, and thus, the effect will be getting rid of the child without clearing that space. The same problem occurs with spouses in the vanilla game.

Opening the console, clicking the child, and typing:
addfac xx004290 3
Might work, assuming this will overwrite her current rank in the faction (as an adopted child).
xx being the number of Hearthfire in your load order.

I'm not experienced with the console, though, so it might fail.

this is not true a mod called divorce was made, maybe modder can fix look at children issue if you ask him, or was it remove steward also, or both , arggh crap so long ago i need that mod.... lol

Unadopt Children. A mod. It was so obvious, i glanced over it.

As the woman in the orphanage said, having a child is a great responsibility. You can't just adopt a child and return it a few months later. And the fact that you're talking about beating her as if it wasn't a bad thing is just repulsive. If only I knew where you live, I'd report you to the local guards.
