[Modded] FPS Problem in Blackreach
Hello there!

The location^

And yes, I actually don't know why the MSI Afterburner overlay is showing on my screenshots but I guess it's helpful here. :P

Mods used (All):
Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch
SkyUI
Skyrim Particle Patch for ENB
war_specialized_weapons_sp0
EnhancedLightsandFX
Opeth_torch
ELFXEnhancer
Opeth_Weather
ELFX - Exteriors
ELFX - Weathers
SMIM-Merged-All

And also 2k Textures but guess it doesn't have an esp file.

I started modding just a few hours ago, I wanted to see how far my computer could go, and it can deal with this no problem, just this one area where it drops in frames.

Otherwise it's at 60 fps (I've set a limit at 60 fps) in all the other areas I've checked out, this is just an area I really like and is also the most light intensive area I know of, and it's fine everywhere else in the cave, just the area I'm looking at right there that has those massive frame drops.

i7 6700k 4.0 GHz
GTX 980 Ti
16 gb ram
SSD

I've tried tinkering with a few ENB settings but I'm not all that well versed in this stuff, I barely know what antialiasing means.

Will post any other information people might need.

Blackreach is kind of an interior, so anything that effects lightning, etc WILL make it the most pefromance hogging place there is due to interior lightning being applied to such a big place. Thats why skyrim is split into many cells, and the outer lightning in skyrim has never been a big thing in the native version of the game due to its performance hogging and not that good optimization.

Try ticking off Enhancedlightsandfx and test if it drops fps. also enbs tend to drag your FPS down a lot in the interiors.

Ok I'll try. :)

Weird thing is the whole cave except that one place with that big ball of light is fine.
Which actually has less light than the rest of the cave, rest of the cave being filled with huge glowing mushrooms.

But will check if that's the problem. :P

If so, I might report it to the creator of said mod, might be possible to fix? I have no clue. xD

EDIT: Indeed, the lightning mods was the problem, thanks for the help<3
How weird for the frame drop to be concentrated in that one place though, even if I walked backwards into it, once I reached a certain spot I got those huge drops I frames.

Yeah its odd but its filled with interior lightning thats badly optimized.
