What is error code 86?

I just tried to launch skyrim and it just says, "Error code 86" what is that and how do i get rid of it ?.

hmm, it says that a file is missing and that it will be installed, but it doesn'st install it?, do i have to install it myself and how do i do it?.

I have the same problem, but only the first view times I tried to launch it, it gave the error code. Now when I launch it and it gets to the main menu, it just stops and I have to restart it. But then the same thing happens. What do I have to do?

Usually a corrupt download. Does this only happen with Skyrim? If so, then try to validate files again, but this time with cleared appcache folder.

I just restarted steam, it seemed to work, I was attempting to launch btdb.
