Vivid Landscapes - question
I do not use ENB. I want to use the All in One package. First I download the 2048 pack, then the 2048 non-ENB patch, and then... I wanted to use the 4K pack. But does anyone know if that pack has any Parralax textures? There is no non-ENB patch for it, but I'm not sure if I can still use it without ENB.
Can anyone tell me how will it work?

By the way, before anyone asks: Yes, my computer can run 4K textures, as well as ENB. The reason I don't use ENB is because, ever since I changed my operating system, I've got a weird problem with it's .dll file that nobody, nobody has been able to help me here, on Nexus or several tech forums. I won't go into detail, but I'm practically unable to use ENB or SweetFX. But when I was able to use it, I was having solid 30-40 FPS with full RealVision

The mod author says theres no different between the 4k and 2k version of the mod.
Just clearing that up, i never used ENB and never used 4k textures, so cant help you there.

If you mean d3d9.dll then some cards and drivers indeed have a problem with it. That file is located to Wrapper folder of ENB binary pack.

There is another folder ind that binary pack called Injector. That folder was made for computers that can not use d3d9.dll file and does not include it.

Majority of ENB presets in Nexus rely on Wrapper, but there are also several quality ENBs for Injector.

These are kind of questions that you can ask directly in either one of our pinned topics that relates to troubleshooting Skyrim (my own Player Spreadsheet and Master Dan's help thread.) You are certain to get replies from there, seeing how many forum regulars are following them.

1. The graphics card is not the problem. That's the same GPU I used ENB on before I changed the system. It's probably the drivers, but I don't remember which ones I used that worked.
2. I am well aware of the two versions of ENB, and trust me, I tried the Injector. Many times. I do everything according to the instructions, I open the game and it just doesn't work. Sometimes it does work (I can see the ENB text on top left corner of the screen, but there is absolutely 0 difference in how the game looks).
3. I've been struggling with this issue for over a year, and nobody, I repeat, NOBODY was able to help me.

I could not know any of that from your original post.
If I find someting, then I will inform you about it.

I doubt you will, I tried. But maybe this will help:
When I use the Wrapper Version and launch the game, the Skyrim game launcher freezes before I even see the buttons. It just crashes. If I use the SKSE launcher I will get an error with the code 0x0000007b, or something like that. I looked at various fixes for this error, but not a single one of them worked. I'm pretty sure it's the drivers problem. I use MSI Radeon R9 270, and I had no problem with ENB before Crimson Edition drivers rolled out. I'm not sure where I can get older drivers and if downgrading them will not cause problems with other parts of my computer. Besides, I'm not that interested in ENB. Sure, eyecandy graphics are nice, but if I lose half of my framerate it suddenly doesn't seem so good

The main reason to use ENB - with or without ENB preset - would be ENBoost, which is yet another popular and very practical memory management feature for Skyrim. It uses enbhost.exe to settle VRAM flow to your computer RAM, allowing game to have a lot less memory spikes.

It is most useful to modded games, with high resolution textures, but even vanilla games will benefit from it.

So, I will mark this post down and keep my eyes open, in case that I stumble in to something that may help.

I know that ENBoost is almost essential whenever you're trying to make a highly modded game, with lots of textures, weathers, particles, etc.
For me, if I want to play the most stable game, I go with
Skyrim + Dawnguard + Hearthfire + Dragonborn + Official High Res DLC. Then i use Optimized Vanilla Textures (full version), and Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch. Then I use SKSE, SKSE memory patch (according to your awesome thread) and SkyUI. With this setup I pretty much never encounter bugs or other issues, or crash and lag. Nothing, the game is lovely. And, because of the High Res DLC it doesn't look that bad
