Detect items mod?

My searches come up empty, would anyone know of a utilitarian item detecting or magical item detecting type mod? Sort of like detect life, but for magical items. There's a few scenarios it would come in handy. First, indoor 'mishaps' were I accidentally explode shelves and tables of stuff all over the room and clipping glitches etc conceal stuff.
Another specific problem, is after taking over as arch-mage, I have -never- in a dozen playthru's been able to find Varen's silver ring he 'lost in his private garden'.

I've used that before, wasn't currently enabled. I think you may be thinking of the Midas spell mod for Oblivion, he had some niche utilitarian type spells mixed in. The midas mod for skyrim doesn't though.

Nope, there's a detection spell, the mod description lists it as follows:

Alteration, Adept-level
Locate Object: Illuminates the nearest ore vein, gold, container, door, key, soul gem, written text, potion, gem, ingot or equipment of your choice for 20 seconds.

I figured it out, I had called up the debug salesman using godmode and thinking gm would make all spells available, I had to advskill command alteration to adept level for locateitem to be available and appear. Which I'll let slide as a sudden flash of insight since character isn't mage focused to ever get there naturally.
