Game crashes upon opening Magic Menu when turned into a Vampire Lord

Like it says. I'm playing Dawngaurd, and just accepted Harkon's offer. The moment I open the magic menu, either through the four way menu or the hotkey, the game crashes. I've unloaded all my Mods, and it still happens.This has never happened before. Anyone know of a fix?

Sorry, "loarded"? I'd guess you mean "loaded", but that still doesn't make sense in context...

You shouldn't be able to open the Magic Menu at all while in Vampire Lord form - you should be redirected to the VL perk tree when hitting tab. Or do you perhaps mean the Favourites menu?

By turned into a vampire lord, I mean my race has changed to vampire lord, not that I've used the power. The problem is that when I try to open the magic menu to select the vampire lord power, the game crashes

In most cases, that's triggered by Amazing Race Tweaks - if you're using that, make sure it's up to date and that you've fully read the instructions in the mod description page.

Unfortunately, simply disabling mods may not fully undo their effects on your save games. It may pay to provide a list of the mods you've been using here.

I get a similar issue, but different also.

For me, the game crashes to desktop when opening the magic menu after becoming a vampire. The different part is that this is when I'm in human form. I've tested this, and it does not crash before becoming a vampire, and I have tried disabling every vampire-related race and perk modification. Still doesn't work though.

Edit: this is for becoming a regular vampire. I will try getting turned by Harkon, and see if the issue still crops up. If it does, I am not sure what I can do except remove ALL mods and add them back one at a time until I find the issue one.

I used to get this same crash issue. I think it was some workshop mod causing it or it was decomposing bodies? Can't remember exactly.
