Animal Extermination: bear kills Aeri too soon
Hello. I've received the "Animal Extermination" quest to kill a bear at Anga's Mill, but when I approach the mill, the beast is already in progress of killing inhabitants, and however fast I run, I can't get there fast enough to prevent deaths of Aeri and others (in fact, Aeri and one of the guys are already lying dead when the mill gets into my line-of-sight). I've tried to load an earlier savegame and use 'setstage cr02 20' to 'complete' the quest, but the bear is still there.
Unfortunately, I can't load a savegame earlier than getting the quest in the first place, as it's been a veeery long time since that, and I've completed lots and lots of other quests. I'd really like to prevent these unnecessary deaths. Please help. Thank you.

Well, after a dozen of reloads, I've managed to get there before the bear kills Aeri. Those two worker guys were already slaughtered, but who cares.

What you need to do when that happens is go there and kill the bear, get his REFID from console and clicking on its corpse, then type resurrect in console. If the bear is brought back you have the right target, so reload your save and then type kill in console to try and kill the bear or whatever.

If it doesn't work when you are far away from the bear, travel there and instantly use kill in console.

I have had to do this several times to prevent a bear from killing the farmers in Ivarstead.

Wow, that's some serious console magic, Dr. Heisenberg! Thanks a lot, I'll try that.
