Pc vs ps4
So I had skyrim for ps3 and loved it. Played hundreds of hours and am pretty stoked for it to come to ps4. I have played skyrim on a friends computer and enjoyed the mods but really disliked using the keyboard and mouse. I used to have a controller when I played games like NHL 99 on pc.
Would getting a controller for pc make playing skyrim on pc just as easy to control as on ps4? Or would I still be tied to having to use the keyboard as well? Thanks

There are plenty of programs on the PC to make games like Skyrim controller compatiable.

Like this one for example.

https://inputmapper.com/

I test this on games like Portal 2, LIMBO, etc. And the program runs fine.

There are just some games that are better with a controller rather than a keyboard. Or i guess you can say, you just need to find the apporiate keyboard and mouse that fits to your specifications.

I'll second that-I use a SCUF controller and it's my goto on pc.

Play it on pc. Remastered on ps4 is confirmed to have mods disabled. Your only choice is xbox or pc.

Wat. PC gaming is only going to go up. Consoles can never recreate the PC experience. They're nice for people without time or willingness to do a little fiddling, but for anyone wanting to get the best out of a game, PC is the only choice.

PC will have more mods, better mod support, a wider modding community, easier to fix broken mods, better modding experience, Potentially better graphics, much better frames. The list goes on for a while

I intend to play it mostly on ps4 because my computer isn't the greatest but I'll play a different character on my pc with a couple mods added

Why would you use such a program on a game that is already controller-compatible by default?

Yeah right. Just look at the hundreds of titles available on Steam, and that's just one of the companies selling PC games. PC gaming is a long way from being dead. There are lots of games you'll never even see on a console, they were specifically designed for PC only. Yet almost all of the console games eventually make their way over to the PC platform.
pc you can mod it, ps4 no mods
actual skyrim with mods will be better than skyrim remastered.
enb provide better lightning and reshader than the tweak they made in the remastered version. On the pc you can get texture up to 4k with many details vs the remastered version will only be 1k texture.i wont buy the remastered version for sure, next buy elder scroll 6 in few years
