Where did you get the idea there is no dark magic in this game????????
like seriously, if they can summon dark beings why cant they fight using the dark magic?
it just feels strange to see someone who fills some crumbled tower with goat heads and unholy thingamajigs use fire as an attack.
Nothing is white/black in Skyrim. Even the little old lady in the shack outside Riverwood holds a dark secret. Shades of grey are what Skyrim is all about. Your choices and what you do with your skills and abilities are what define your character.
So, I've wondered why I couldn't do that.
Im pretty sure there are spell mods that add something darker.
Yes there is what do you think restoration magic is?
Forgotten Magic is a good one.
That's not what 'dark' or 'light' magic means. 'Dark' magic is inherently corrupting and is used only by the most power-mad or naive. 'Light' magic is just the stuff that is 'safe' to use or the stuff the 'good' limit themselves to.
In TES there is no such division. None of the magic available to you is inherently corrupting - though some is still considered taboo so only the most power-mad use it (such as necromancy) no is any of it 'pure'.
Its all just a tool.

Mod hasn't been updated in over a year, so it should be relatively safe from being updated and corrupting saves.
Specifically, I think you will find what you're looking for with the spells with "eldritch" "arcane" "twilight" and "utterdark" in their names.
Mind you, there is no semblence of balance in this mod, so its up to you not to abuse anything that is too potent.
