Bound Bow draw speed?
Anybody knows the exact number?

I've been looking for it but I can't find anywhere.

Thank you! I've looked up several of these comparisons, but the Bound Bow was never listed. Looks like it has one of the best DPS of all bows.

Assuming you avoid the crafting system, at least...

But the base damage is really good, and to the best of my understanding that's all that matters when it comes to skill gain per arrow. And indeed, the UESP page for Bound Weapon reckons it's the best bow for the purposes of training:

With Patch 1.9 the Bound Bow with Mystic Binding garners more XP per hit than any other bow in the game.

Personally I've found I get really good gains by shooting things point blank with a bound bow using minimum draw. The idea is more arrows per second, rather than any concerns about actually damaging things with them. Indeed, the longer my targets stay upright, the more XP I can eek out of them!

Well, I've found this link and since I don't plan on using smithing (maybe I'll get the steel, elven, dwarven and arcane perks later), the bound bow will probably serve me best. Especially in combination with some illusion spells and perks (silent casting).

dps in skyrim is irrelevant. i have proven it MILLIONS of times for any weapons.
once you've cleared the game 100% the only thing left is to enjoy it for what it is.
the dps is worthless and theres alot of good looking weapons.
you can shoot a 600 dmg shot from a long bow( the basic bow) OR a 1500 dmg arrow from a dragonbone bow + chaos enchant + magic dmg enchant + crit dmg + triple dmg for sneak.

its not about dps its about how you love to play this game.
lowest dmg = long bow + iron arrow for 650 dmg
highest dmg = dragonbone bow + dragonbone arrow for 1800
add 250 for chaos and around 90 magic dmg enchant
crit for 50% more dmg
and triple dmg from sneak attack
total minimum (650+326+240+120) X 3 and (1800+900+ 240+120) X 3
dmg crit chant sneak dmg crit chant sneak

Well, I'll stick with my Bound Bow and get an Dwarven Crossbow or Some high-end bow later for sniping.

Well 650 damage is ok for a long bow but dragon bows can have over 900 base damage if you have good crafting skills.
