Can't remove Elder Scrolls?
So I just finished the whole vampire questline. I now have thre three Elder Scrolls (blood, dragon, sun) in my inventory, and I can't remove them! I just want to shove them in a chest somewhere, consider they weigh 20 EACH. This is taking up 60 of my inventory. How can I fix this?
Thanks

well there is a console command for removing them, Player.removeitem if I recall, but you need to google the item codes for them, each one has a slightly different item code.

It's basically the reverse of the player.additem command.

if i remember right you can sell elder scroll (dragon) to urag in the college of winterhold and (blood) and (sun) to dexion in fort dawnguard/castle volkihar depending on what questline you did

There is a bug/issue with the college though, if you have already sold it to the college, then had to buy it back for the quest, then they won't buy it a second time. In that case the removeitem command is the way to get rid of it, there is a command to drop an item too, but I've never tried it myself.

I need to point out that quest items do not actually weight a thing. The game will show 20 units, but the actual weight is 0 units.

This is true for all items marked as quest items, including Elder Scrolls.

Didn't know that, are you sure, I'm sure when I've offloaded them my weight went down, I think.

Yes, I am sure. You can even test that out, if you want. :)

Quest items have no weight, even if they state otherwise in the menu. Some quest items will have no weight even before the apparent start of the quest. This can occur when the quest is running in the background, but has no journal entries yet.
