Werewolf form vs Human form
Does werewolf with all perks beat a non werewolf using maxed standard weapons with enchantments in terms of damage output or is it the other way around?

Human form has unlimited potential through enchants. So there's that.

A werewolf I think only does like 150 damage at max or somthing, A smithed weapon alone can out damage a werewolf. For werewolf to be good late-game you need mods.

at 1st level the werewolf is awesome as is the vampire lord but as you level up and improve your new gear and apply enchantments and perks your humanoid form will quickly outshine the werwolf form.

most of the time I will clear an area or ruin with my hu,manoid form and then transform and eat everyone to get the perks. it is much easier this way.

On legendary difficulty a maxed werewolf can solo a bear vaguely but that is about it. On the other hand your human form can ohko it and take on several bears at once.

I guess that decides it. However, is it worth contracting lycanthropy just for the disease resist or would the penalty to skill gains (no rest bonus) not be worth it? Being a two handed user I hate when I get rockjoint or similar and have to spend 200 gold on cure disease potions so that I don't have that 25% reduced weapon damage lol.

1. money will become a non factor. gold will be pouring from your pockets at some point so buying potions is not a bad option.

2. why buy when you can make them. charred skeever hide and mudcrab chitin makes a cure disease potion. this will raise your alchemy. there is a note to buy from merchants giving you this recipe so it is not a cheat to know this.

3. make some garlic bread. now that is good eating.

4. Unless I am roleplaying I rarely if ever sleep.

5. if you want the achievements you can clear an area and then transform to eat the corpses.

Damage aside, the werewolf form does allow you to easily ragdoll your enemies, move a lot faster, and ignore being overburdened.

Due to a bug, it's still possible to contract diseases as a werewolf, though it becomes a "once in a blue moon" event. Seems to mostly be traps that do it.

If you're reasonable with a bow, shooting down a hawk and eating its feathers makes for yet another easy cure. If you're actually going into town to get potions after infection, just go to a shrine and get cured for free.

If you want to power level skills get the aetherium crown and combine the lover stone with one of the three near helgen.
