Skyrim: Dragonborn, The Path of Knowledge is GONE
Hey guys,

So there I was, killed all the bandits on Nchardak, ran to the entrance right after the battle and then my Philter of Strenght worned out. Too heavy to proceed, I dropped a few stuff out of inventory and fast travelled to Lakeview Manor. Dropped all heavy things inside a chest and fast travelled back to Nchardak, no sigh on Neloth there. Fast travelled again to his place, nothing there, then decided to take a brake and left the game for a few days. Today, I went back to Neloth's place and he was there again, but the quest was gone.
No dialogue line worked to get it back, not with Neloth and not even with Storn Crag-Strider. Neloth gave me a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quests about a new steward and briarheath warriors, but nothing I did could take The Path of Knowledge back on my quest list.

I have no previous saves for that... You know, I didn't anticipated such a problem and never heard of such a thing before.

can anybody help me?

Is the door to the Nchardak Reading Room open (the control cube in the receptacle outside the door)?

If so, see if Neloth shows up inside. If he does and you wish to continue, by all means do so.
If he does not, or if the door is still locked, you may be able to proceed by obtaining the control cubes via the console. You'll need four of them, all told.

In the console:
help "control cube"
<note the returned ID for the cube>
player.additem xxxxxxx 4 (replace x's with ID)

Good luck.

Thank you for your help friend, but i play on PC. Yet I tried the similar method on PC, and still... nothing happened. I am afraid of loosing this character =/

PS: The door is closed, Neloth is nowhere to be found...
