How To Remove Profanity?
EDIT: Thanks for all of the replies :) My question has been answered.

Hi all,
I'm just wondering if there's a way to remove profanity (cussing, bad words, whatever you call it) from Skyrim. I'd like to play it with my brother, who's only a kid, but I have qualms about letting him play since many of the characters curse quite often. Honestly, I don't care for it myself. So are there any mods, etc, out there that can do this?

Thanks

They don't say the F word, if that's what you're worried about.

I know, but still, I don't want there to be any profanity, if at all possible.

I've not heard any swear words in Skyrim ...

There is a lot of extreme violence ... does that not worry you?

Skyrim is a PG-18 game and I honestly don't think there is a mod that removes profanity. There however are mods that may help you adjust the violence like:

Violens: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56980/?

Kill move mod. You can adjust the decapitations.

Enhanced Blood: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60/?

Not too sure bout this one but I think you can remove blood with this thing.

I've already removed a lot of the extreme violence, I basically want to make it as kid friendly as possible (I know, I know, Skyrim isn't meant to be kid-friendly). So all I need now is to remove swearing.

I have removed blood and gore, which is cool, but I want to remove swearing.

By the way, thanks for all of the swift replies!

That is a hard one, because Skyrim audio files are very damn annoying to work with. You would also need to work with subtitle files.

Anyone who has ever worked with Skyrim dialogue can tell you that it is not something peoples are doing for fun. Creation Kit is... interesting tool. :/

There's no swear words in Skyrim. The worst word in the entire game is "bastard".

That depends on your point of view. Some people see certain words as okay, while people like me cringe any time someone says the "D-word" :)

There's no D word in Skyrim. There's 3 uses of profanity in the entire game. Two uses of "bastard" and one use of "piss".

Think about the negotiations at High Hrothgar.

There is no swearing in Skyrim indeed, but some people don't like swearing, that's the way it is. It's just words as I see.
