Why wont arduin break the wall at the start of the game?

yes im with them and have ran all the way up alduin breaths fire through the wall but the wall doesnt break

Sounds like a bug, did you try to reload? Also are you using mods?

ive restarted the game loads of times and i dont use any mods

you right click the game goto properties it should say validate somewhere

While in your library right click skyrim and click properties, then in the box that comes up go over to local files and click Verify interegty of game cache.

youll just have to see it yourself

It should install missing flies, it MIGHT work, I can't say I ever enocuntered the problem, I have other possible fixes byt they require using the console, that should always be last resort. That or mods.
