Meridia's beacon
I don't take kindly to being ordered around - who does she think she is, some kind of goddess?!

What is the deepest, darkesst and most final place you can dump her trinket to teach her she isn't the boss of you?

You can't. It's a quest item. Sorry.

You can't drop quest items? Hm, can't say I ever tried.

However, I refuse to admit defeat. There has to be a way.

You could... do her quest? You get a pretty nice undead-slaying sword from it. Other options: don't pick up her beacon, or get a mod that lets you drop quest items.

Which makes a mockery of Calcemo's request when you have a Dwarven xxxxxxxxx that he says he wants. It doesn't mark that as a quest item so I'd bet 99% of the time, players have sold it, melted it down or dumped it without knowing.

The item does not have specific ID. If he asks for dwemer arrow, then any dwemer arrow you find or make will do.

Do the quest as a vampire lord.

Personally, it took me a very long time to find a second "dwarven sword of whatever-specific-enchant-he-wanted".

Yeah. It is possible that he asks for something more specific than standard item. That is true.

She may not be the boss of you but she CAN pick you up above the clouds and drop you, and you CAN'T fly.

That's a badass effect. It's too bad it's only used ONCE. I want to build a house up there!

That would be awesome.

It's not exactly building a house per se, but I think you can slap the tower location from Kagrenac's Instant Fortress mod up there. Just watch your step when you leave.

And you have some loot in that quest you can find. And some black souls if you know the spell.
Captain Keen Sep 8, 2016 @ 9:43pm
Bah - there has to be a way, they must have slipped up somehow.

I want to be able to say "Your quest? Oh, no I didn't do that one. I traded your silly beacon to a group of travelling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, for a tea cup.

Why? Well you forgot to say the magic word, didn't you?"
Brandybuck Sep 8, 2016 @ 10:52pm
Just don't do the quest. It's not like the game has a gun to your head. Sheesh.
