house of clan shatter-shield ctd?
Hi, I been playing for over 100 hours now on a new save, but just now I ran into my first real issue.

Upon exploring Windhelm, I was snopping around house of clan shatter-shield and I randomly ctd so I thought. So I loaded up my game again and went to the area of the house were the ctd happened and sure enough the ctd happened again.

It happens 100% of the time.

The CTD happens when I make a left turn (from facing the locked door) and I walk towards the left side of the house. There's a little space there and there doesn't seem to be anything at all there just a simple dead end.

However when I go into the little dead end my game CTD's lmao.

Every single time it's a 100% CTD.

I can play the game for hours and hours without a single crash or ctd. Going all the way from Falkreeth to Windhelm and everything in between and the game runs and plays perfectly.

I have ENBoost, SKSE, I cleaned my mods with TES5Edit, etc etc.

I have zero clue as to why this is happening. I even went ahead and uninstalled all of my 2K textures for windhelm along any other graphical mods for the city to see if any of those mods were causing the ctd but nothing. Even with a vanilla windhelm the game still ctd's at the exact same area :(

Any helpful tips will be apreciated :)

Hmm, I just loaded up my game and this time I decided to take out my bow and shoot an arrow into that little dead end and as soon as my arrow hit the dead end wall the game ctd.

How weird!

Going around through the right hand side also causes a CTD. Basically I can't try going around the sides of the house or my game CTD's.

I did some googling and I found this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Eas-rOQJrE

You see how he goes around to the right side of the house? His game doesn't ctd, but it glitches up. Mine doesn't glitch it just ctd's 100% of the time.

I can go inside the actual house just fine with 0 issues though ^^;

Any mods? If so load order sorted with LOOT? After running LOOT be sure to click on the button in the upper right that says "Sort" when hovered over, then click "Apply" once it appears.

Load order and resource priority basics

I cleaned my mods with TES5Edit

Cleaning your masters is a good idea, but did you check the mod description pages before cleaning your other files? Certain mods require edits that LOOT identifies as "dirty", and LOOT doesn't always know that they should be left alone.

In rare cases, crashes may be caused by your graphical settings. In order to narrow out all other factors, you might consider disabling all mods (not just those you believe might be related), creating a new character, then using "tmm 1" to reveal all map markers and thus allow yourself to get over there quickly in order to test that way.
