What I'd do:
Hard Save.
Look up the magic effect for a disease and give it to yourself in the console.
Make one of those potions and down it. See if it cures you.
Either way, after that, exit WITHOUT SAVING and come on back to let me know what happened. That would be great to either mark it off the list or have documented for the future.
It's quite baffling to create a resist poison potion when really,
I should be creating a cure disease potion, especially when "cure disease" is the option I chose.
I could swear I've come across a different recipie for the same potion somewhere, but I'll have to wait and see if I come across it again.
