Google Skyrim, then come back and take 3 guesses.

Suddenly? Judging from Steam Charts, nothing much has changed in the playerbase.

Do you seriously need to ask that question?

oh my the special 64 bit version is coming out at the end of this month. But only if you already own the base game plus the dlc.

Ive played just as much as when it first came out. I have never seen the player base drop much at all.

It has peaked above this level at sale times, like Xmas, New Years, etc, but has not dropped off much below present levels. Mainly because it is such a good game, it can be modded to death, it takes quite a while to finish it, at least the main quests. And then there are the fact you can play it entirely differently just by creating your own character, then playing by your own set of rules, like being a thief only, except for using alchemy, no smithing, no enchating, whatever rules you want to play by.

Is it the Honeycakes??
Are they getting enough Mead??
Is it because they really want to find all the stones of Barenziah??

I came back because fallout 4 got boring after 1300 hours played.
