SKSE read/write permissions not working
I have been trying to use wearable lanterns, but it says the SKSE folder doesn't have read/write permissions. I have checked it and it says the folder has the permissions. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have SKSE set to "run as admin" compatibility mode?

Open file explorer and navigate to \steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim folder find the skse_loader.exe. right click this file and choose properties. Select the compatibilities tab and check run as admin.

Sorry to necro this but for people still looking for the solution in SE I finally found it.

Long story short, message is harmless and mod works just fine despite it popping up. But for VR (and OCD) users, download this patch so it's less annoying.
