Can I lock the load order?
I have Loot but it's not working right for me. It makes one of the mods not to work properly, setting it as first when it should be the last. Nexus does the same.

It there any way to save or lock the load order like it should be?

Go into the "Edit Metadata" category and make the load order value for a mod something in the negatives.

This is exactly the reason why I moved to Mod Organizer from NMM. Tools have their reasons to set load order as they do, but ability to manually change priority when needed (left panel) was too good to pass.

With MO, LOOT can set the load order (right panel) as it sees fit. I am merely moving few scripts to load in a bit different order than tool originally inteded.

I have started to favor MO, despite my previous problems with it.

I started using MO for this and many other reasons recently. My switch over went well except for Familiar Faces bugged out when I had to reinstall Race Menu. Even if I cleaned my save file or anything. I'm about to see if a new game will fix that problem. It's really nice how you can literally have everything you need to mod Skyrim right there in the same tool just switch to which action you want and go. And Merging files is amazing to make your game less script heavy.

You can see that it is almos 2 in the morning, when my head is already halfway to bed. I stand by my MO statement, but there is no point for me to advertise other tools, when you already have tools you need in hand.

You can tell LOOT to change it's behavior. Instead of giving you some tired and incoherent set of poor advices, I will just link Gopher's video about LOOT here (the one I just shared in another post, but still didn't thought to share here...) He starts to change the order around 8.00.
