Just got Skyrim, what addons/mods are a must have?
Finally got Skyrim for my laptop, and with the workshop now open to me, I want to get addons that will make my game so much better! Better than any console!

Any reccomendations welcome, but nothing too big, since I only have a laptop. Thanks!

if you play 1st person immersive first person is good

If you use magic you need to mod to game to not get your ass handed to you on higher difficulties!

Here is a tip: If you are just now playing the game, go until about level 30 before modding. A big mistake new guys make is getting mods that say "complete overhaul" or "new and improved" without actually experiencing what these mods are "improving" actually play the game before you mod it, so you can see what you want, and what you probably should not get.

I would definitely recommend Skyrim Enhanced Camera over that, since it does the same thing without messing up the first person view of the arms.

Get mods that make stuff weightless. It sucks being limited by how much you can carry.

Interesting, never thought of that. Thanks! I have played Skyrim before on console, so I may install a few mods, and add on more later!

It'd be better having no mod. After I reinstall window, all mods has gone and my character have invisible face. :(

Or better yet, get the bandoliers mod.

Depends on what you're looking to change. I'd highly suggest getting SKSE as well as Skyui, if you're going to use a mouse and keyboard it's a must have. A lot of mods use them so it's nice to have both just in case. I'd suggest taking a look at either the steam workshop or skyrim nexus for mods you would like.
I recommend Frostfall and Realistic Needs and Diseases(or iNeed or whichever needs mod appeals to you)it's a nice change but nothing so intense it's completely game changing
Yes exactly what Bloodraven said you need those two for sure
