Cannot chose any options in character creation Even when in console

hey guys and girls my problem is that i can only choose my race and then Press R and input my name when starting a new game.

I cannot slide over to body face etc all i can do is go up and down on the choose race screen I cannot click done but only press R to name my dude!

My grapics are all set to high
i have the 360 controller disabled
and the rest of the game works.

had this problem since install. so havnt really played it at all because whats the point if you cant get your player the way you want him to look.

Any help would be fine
as for specs
the game itself runs on high
the only problem i can think of is my moniter is huge and i will try adjusting the resolution to a lower one to see if that fixes it tho Most likely not

any help would be amazly awsum and much appierated
I've looks for any threads with the same problem and there are none
The only question that remains is WHY ME :'(

Only way I've gotten to the other panels is to click on the heading at the top. I don't know of any keyboard command to move through them. On the reverse; there isn't actually a Done button, you have to press R to finish character creation.

Have you changed the size of your desktop text through the Windows Control Panel? I did this recently making them larger and I noticed in at least two games i couldnt move in all directions and my mouse was stuck in place in menu areas. When i switched the text back to a smaller size everything was working properly again.

This only happened due to my resolution being at 1280x1024 which i prefer since its easier on my older eyes. At higher resolutions i can switch text size without a problem.

I managed to fix the problem by setting my screen to wide screen and 1080 by 720 then creating my guy then saving quiting and putting it back to my max resolution! thank you both for commenting and Jaderive No mods unsure how to actally install them Do i just click subcribe with the work shop or do i have to put em in folders and shiz

my heading wasnt working when on my max resolution! i could only move my sliders by setting my resolution to a lower one! same thing happend with x com my moniter is to big :(

I'm having the same issue, but I've messed with the resolution settings, which is how you said yours was fixed. but I still cant click on the headers. I'm stuck at the character creation screen, and after hitting done, the window pops up but I cant even continue with the default character either.

Id recommend you all who have problems with the menus, to download the menu fix from Skyrimnexus.

its the one that fixes menu interactions, makes them MUCH MORE responsive and right in place for mouses in any resolution.

Id recommend anyways to use Nexus Mod Manager, good for checking the file queue for starting, and also for installing/Managing your mods.
