"To Kill An Empire" Glitch

So in the Dark Brotherhood quest "To Kill An Empire" It says to talk to Gainna and when i talk to her shaw says her first line as usual, "not another delivery. I told you people, our stocks are fine. now put whatever you have over there, then get out!". than i get the option 'You misunderstand. For I am... the Gourmet!". Bo she then says her usual line, "The Gourmet? Oh! Finally! When i heard the Gourmet was being broughtin to cook for the Emperor, I could hardle believe it. It's just..." but the i should get the option to say "Yes?" but she just says "see ya" anyone know why she is just leaving the coversation like that?

You're a vampire or have a modded race, as this is where she mentions your race. It stops because your race wont be recognized.

" When approaching Gianna and talking to her, she may stop the conversation at "It's just..." This may be caused by the Dragonborn being a vampire (in which case it can be fixed by curing the disease), or using custom races added by mods on the PC. This is because Gianna makes a specific comment at this point about the Dragonborn's race, and these races have no dialog, preventing the conversation from continuing. The command "SetStage DB09 30" will skip this conversation on the PC."

well you cant totaly blame her. she just wanted whats best for the brotherhood.... by killing all but three of them.....

Honestly, I think she just wanted to be the boss and became jealous of the dragonborn. Or at least was blinded by that.

yeah maybe. but she never brings up the dragonborn so i dont think she knows. i think shes jelly about not being the listener

I meant the dragonborn as in the player charcter.

If she knew you were dragonborn she would have alot of guts to kidnap you, and is kinda stupid to sell you out to Maro. I mean hero foretold to kill Alduin vs random Imperial soldier = lol.

Thanks! Had this same problem, was using the Scout from TF2 Race and didn't know that it would lead to dialogue issues!
