I Lost Shadowmere :/ (solved)

So it has been a ridiculously long time since I've played Skyrim. So long that I forgot most of where I put things like equipment and whatnot. Well I have been searching the stables and my hearthguard homes but Shadowmere is nowhere to be found and I can't remember for the life of me where I stuck him. I remember buying another horse to ride because I didn't want Shadowmere to die- and the horse I bought died so wherever I left Shadowmere is where I'll find him. Problem is- I already checked everywhere I could name and I just can't find him! Are there any console commands I could use to spawn him in or is there a mod I could download that would track him for me? Very stupid I know- but I'd like my horse back xD.

player.placeatme <0009CCD8 or 0009CCD7 (I cant remember which one) here> 1

^ That should spawn a new instance of him at your location if you REALLY cant find him.
Also for furture knowledge, even if shadowmere DOES die, he will either respawn at the pool where you aquire him or where he did in about ten in game days. Sometimes he bugs and doesn't respawn, but he should. The only thing that should kill him anyway is a giant or sometimes a dragon as he has a lot of a hell of health and health regen.

Go to the Pool he did came up from, when you got him. You can try there.

And it is one copy. And it is better to use the command for the player to be placed at the target. Not your command.

Thanks you guys. I'm still searching around for him but so far no luck. I don't use console commands unless it's a last measure but I'm getting to that point. I'll check the pool area though. Thanks! :D

jumping off a mountain will kill him, i know i did it, and i was shocked because he died and i didn't

Only reason I gave that one is that if shadowmere has bugged out and doesnt actually exist in the world anymore, sometimes that command will bug out.
But yes there is also this if youre certain that shadowmere is still somewhere:

player.moveto 0009CCD8

Oh hey a little update. Thanks you guys for telling me about the pool area. I found him hanging around the old Dark Brotherhood sanctuary. That was super helpful! Hopefully I won't have to ask such a ridiculous question in the future. Thanks :)

Get the "Whistle" mod and your horse will find you when you whistle (Power) for it.
