Should I have anti-aliasing on or off?
Is it a big difference in-game to the naked eye?

What resolution are you running at? How large is your monitor? How far do you sit from your monitor? What are your specs? Answer those questions and I'll tell you if you should use AA.

It doesn't need to be either this or that. You can go to grey area and choose light antialiasing.

Resolution In-game: 1920x1080
The Height: ABOUT 12/13 inches. That's just an accurate guess so I'll say it's pretty large compared to other monitors, also it's a VIZIO if that helps.
The Width: ABOUT 24 inches. That's just an accurate guess so I'll say it's pretty large compared to other monitors, also it's a VIZIO if that helps.
I sit about 9 inches away
Specs; My processor: AMD A10-4600m APU with Radeon(tm) HD graphics (4 cpus), ~2.3GHz
Specs; My BIOS: 2.03.
I hope that helps. Ask me if I missed anything.

Are you running a Vizio television? Do you have the diagonal measurement of the display?

You're running an APU, which is pretty low spec for much in the way of filtering including but not limited to anti-aliasing.

Based on your specs alone, I'd say only very light anti-aliasing would be feasible without a fair performance hit. I would, however, reccomend that you use it if you can based on the rest of what you've given me.

Sitting 9 inches from that monitor is passing strange.

You could always just try it out yourself. Seriously, your eyeballs are the best judge.

9 inches away??? WTF??? My 24" is almost 4 feet away from where I sit.

The fact that he claims Vizio as his manufacturer, combined with the fact that Vizio make only televisions, tells me that he just estimates sizes very poorly.

Explain that thread, OP. You're telling me you were whining about Skyrim's graphics and you didn't even have AA on? LMAO, go back to XBox OP.
Lol I'm just wondering here if AA has a huge look difference, calm your tits. Also I don't even own xbox 360. I own PS4 :).

Turn it off and try it yourself. tbh I've never even played the game with it off, so I couldn't give an opinion on that. But if you are concerned about performance with Edge AA on, you should try installing ENBoost and then setting it up to use an SMAA injector.

With a 1920 x 1080 like yours and mine you don't need AA that much, but some people still notice jaggies (especially sitting at 9 inches away!). Also, there are actually people that prefer no AA because of the crisp images so it all boils down to your taste.
