Windstad Manor - Glitch "Use the Drafting Table to begin building your house" [SOLVED]

I've built the other two homes that come with Hearthfire. I know to use the drafting table, select the small house, and then go to the work bench. The other two homes would change their objectives in the Miscellaneous missions in the menu, stating to use the work bench. Windstad Manor does not. It still continues to point at the drafting table, stating "Use the Drafting Table to begin building your house."

I selected the small house option, and "built it" using materials. However, it should be noted that the plot of land was never roped off like the others, and there is no building on that land, despite constructing one using the work bench. Going back to the drafting table, I have options to add wings/additions; but when selecting those and going back to the work bench, there are no options to actually construct the selected additions (again, no physical home on the land, despite having "built" one).

Like I said, I was able to build the other homes to completion. There is no official bug listed for this particular home, but I have seen one other post on here about it with no resolve. Any ideas? Mainly just looking to get the Master Architect achievement, because apparently if the mission objective doesn't update, it doesn't count.

EDIT: The mod "Birds and Flocks" was somehow messing with that location. Removing it resolved the issue, but a previous save had to be loaded from before I "built" the small house.

There are a few mods that interfere with building there. I am not sure of the exact name, but it was something like : birds in skyrim

Yeah, even his "Hearthfire edition" doesn't work. Kind of annoys me.

I've had this same issue. It's my 1st house & I'm not running any mods. Any idea how to fix it?

Hearthfires is extremely buggy. If you have any of the other DLC's make sure they are in the order Dawnguard, Hearthfires, then Dragonborn.

Also posted this in a similar thread. Not sure if this is still an issue for anyone, but I spent several hours looking for a fix to a few similar bugs for my house in the Pale. Problems:
1. Using drafting table for first time did not clear the "use drafting table" objective from journal.
2. Roped-off area was not present at site.
3. House did not appear when I proceeded to build.

READ THE FIRST PAGE. It lists all problematic mods at the time of posting.
NOTE THAT UNOFFICIAL SKYRIM PATCH MUST BE REPLACED WITH UNOFFICIAL LEGENDARY PATCH. That was the problem I had!! Replacing the old patch with the new one fixed everything for me. I had uninstalled mods, quit and requit the game many times, but all I really had to do was replace the old patch. Hope this works for anyone else still playing and getting hyped for the update!

I have this glitch, have none of the mods mentioned and can't find anything to get rid of this.

What happened: I used the drafting table before the task was created. Now, even if I crafted my whole house, I can't see it, and my task is stuck to "use drafting table"

PS: I guess there was an update for the forums because most of the links in this thread doesn't work anymore, or at least in my end.

For me, it was the Birds and Flocks mod. If you have that installed, disable/remove that, and then try again.
