Is there a fix for The Battle for Fort Dunstad (and now Fort Sunguard)?
The Battle for Fort Dunstad (I am Imperial) is broken (and now Fort Sunguard). I have completed the main quest, and a few little side quest, and I have level farmed like hell. I am not starting over...

When I go to the fort, there is simply no one there at all. If I reload and try again, sometimes my own troops are not there either. Its just me, and the quest is not possible to accomplish???

Search for the quest id. And then something like: setstage in the console with ~ (tilde)

You have to add a ) manually at the end of the link. It contains something in the bugsection regarding your problem.

Thanks guys. I hope I can work this out. I'm a perfectionist and this broken quest is activating my OCD...

You need to use URL-tags for links. Otherwise Steam does not read the last ")".
Highlight your link and watch closely; the last bracket isn't selected. In my link (below) it is.

This will sound stupid, but how do I get the URL-link ? Ordinarily I simply copy the line from the top of my Internet Explorer. I did notice about the ) not being accepted.

When you start writing a new message (editing your own does not wor, for some reason), there is a link "Formatting help" at down right part of the box. It has all current formatting tags.

Thanks guys. The ~command worked and fixed my quest. However, according to the page that provided the command, and some things I have read on other forums, a few other quest may be bugged also. Its odd though, because on other playthroughs, I have went all the way through the Civil War quest without an issue.

(And now Fort Sunguard) only the ~command is not fixing this one... This is major BS. I have completed the Civil War many times, and now all the enemies are just gone, breaking the whole quest? WTF?

What command and quest ID did you use ?
D'rael Aug 16, 2014 @ 1:48pm
completequest CWFortSiegeFort

By using that command you have completed the quest. Then Rescue from Fort Kastav would be your next mission which should be started by talking to Legate Rikki.

No, fort Kastav was my last mission before this one.
Grathagis Aug 16, 2014 @ 2:04pm
Then you have messed up the order of the quests somewhere:

Lol, sure. The game itself has no idea what to do, but I have messed it up... doing the quest in the order it gave them to me...

Certainly you realize that completing the main quest first changes the way the Civil War is fought?

You're right I forgot that part. But that would only remove one fort quest. The fort in question is determined from the main quest. The order of the quest as listed in the wiki should remain the same, minus one quest.
