Quick Magic Menu? ^^;

This may sound like a stupd question, but how do I bring up the quick magic menu while in combat?

At around 0:26 secs she brings up a lil side menu. How do you do that?

I'm playing on a 360 pad and I can't seem to find this.

I think you press P or I

P is magic menu, but the video is probably just using the quick menu (q)..looks modified to be more transparant though.

I pressed q and p and nothing happens.

Is it because I play on a xbox 360 pad? If so can this be done with the controller?

I dont wanna play with a keyboard and mouse.
