The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Statistiche:
Martin Septim is a Dragonborn and you are a Septim
Heres how I explain my theory:
-In Oblivion, they refer to Martin as the Dragonborn while on the main storyline as he is being brought to Cloud Ruler Temple.
-The Blades are sworn to "protect the emporer" in Oblivion, but then sworn to "protect the Dragonborn" In Skyrim.. but there is no difference. Anyone along the Septim Bloodline is a Dragonborn.
-In Oblivion, Martin worshipped the divine Akatosh, a diety that takes the form of a dragon, and Martin is even able to transform into the Avatar of Akatosh.
-In Skyrim, the emporer Titus Mead II "knows" you are coming to kill him. Not because you are an assasin, but because you hold the rightful place on the throne. This means the Septim Bloodline did not die off, it was just secretive until the Dragonborn was needed again.
-In Skyrim, Talos plays a big part in the game itself, but sadly enough you do not meet him, maybe hinting to that you were supposed to be the next divine. (Before the Dragonborn was corrupted and whatnot.)

That is my theory. What is yours? Feel free to comment below.

What about....hmm. weird about offspring idea. somehow Serena came about as human, turned vampire. not implying a superrace but wouldent a wereborn or vampborn might get mixed in there somewhere as a lore question? eh...vampires not so much as weres
I don't think undead can have any children. But then again ping-ponging between life and undead several times due to being bitten and doing a quest to cure it seems silly to me.
I read somewhere that Miraak was Breton by birth.

According of this wiki, he is nord:

That make sense because that place was to the nords in the first place...

M-m-m-mabye there is a incredibly rare dormant Dragonborn gene hidden away in everyone? :s

Really? Kinda murky, but the whole dragonborn mumbo jumbo is only populated in Skyrim. Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall, Arena etc. nobody cares about Dragonborn, even though there was living Dragon. Heck, there was no Imperial until Daggerfall.

No? Blades are Dragon Slayers, modeled after Akaviri Dragon Slayers, you know the whole race that eat Dragons for breakfast?

You know, majority of people are either the Nine in one forms or another, or worship the Daedra?

How about how weak and pathetic the Mede line is and he knows at one point someone bound to come and kill him for good? You know, Emperor tend to get one or two people want them dead?

Huh? So what about the Nerevarine? He killed two (or three) Living Gods and play strip poker with Daedric Lords, he's the next Divine (or already a Divine).

Akaviri ate all the Dragons, they are Dragonborns, they must be Septim line?

More than likely it has absolutely nothing to do with genetics at all. It could be like magical potential in Shadowrun; best that's been determined about it in that setting is that it's not hereditary, having magically-gifted parents doesn't effect your chances of being able to use magic.

My bet is that whatever determines a person is Dragonborn is some metaphysical mark on their - and I know that no literal such thing has been hinted at in the games' mythology - thread of fate. Maybe Akatosh or one of the other Divines does something, maybe it's a force only they can comprehend or even know about. Could even be something that baffles them.

Idk if there is already lore about this, but that's an interesting idea. It kind of reminds me of Dishonored and the Outsider (among probably many other sources).

Well, then someone has a lot of explaining to do, because the next heir has a tail and is covered in fur ;)

(in my game) She is short, tan, pointy eared and loves to frollic in the woods, lol.

Actually Serana was a worshipper of Molag Bal and got turned along with her mother in a ritual
While interracial marriages may occur, not all can produce offspring with each other, as is said in "Racial Phylogeny".

Humans and elves are quite capable to have children with each other, but for example khajiit and argonians are too different to crossbreed with humans.

In the case of argonians there are even the eggs to begin with. They continuously talk about the "egg brothers".

Nord women really are waiting for depilation cream to be invented.

This is a reply to boom boom

- No one cares about the next game including the Dragonborn, and all that lore? Not even Bethesda? Maybe you should look here:

- If you have ever played oblivion, the blades clearly state: "Our job is to protect the Emporer" I don't know how you could have missed it. They never said "Our job is to fight huge dragons!"
- Talos is represented as a Serphentine creature and Akatosh is a Dragon creature, although I admit they are not gods of the same nature, Akatosh is the chief god who oversees all other eight.
- Is it only a coincidence that Titus Mede II helped ban the worship of Talos and disbanded the blades, the ones sworn to protect the emporer/ FIGHT THE DRAGONS?!
- I said it may have been hinting, not that you would be a divine. Also, if you could devour the souls of the dragons then you are a dragonborn, but remember the Septim bloodline is not as simple and marked out as one would think. Hell, I have relatives I don't know.

dont forget, some dragons has the ability to change form to humans, elves, and any other bi-pedal races, and then seeded with dragonborn gifts.

reason Martin didnt shout, he didnt learn or killed any dragon to absorb to awaken his ability.
