Housecarls, Wives, and Stewards
I'm curious what happens to your housecarl's when you are the thane for two or more cities? I released Lydia after being given Raya by the Jarl of Falkreath. She walked off and has not returned to the home I built. If my understanding is correct and I can becoe thane for all cities what happens to those given to me to help me manage my belongings and dwellings?

Also, if I should marry do I lose my housecarl or steward as a result of having a wife?

You can gain a housecarl for each of your homes from the specific city. You can turn a follower or a housecarl into a steward. Marrying has no effect on that. You can marry a follower or a housecarl (they are followers as well, just with a title)

Did you check Breezehome? That's where she normally goes unless you use a mod like My Home is Your Home, or Extended Follower Framework to set a new residence.

After you fix up Breezehome, she just eats bread and watches you sleep (or at least that's what she is doing when I go to bed).

Installing the Unofficial Patches fixes that.

Honestly, I am fine if she wants to watch me sleep. Nothing wrong if she wants to watch a big, strong Nord in full ebony gear sleep on a bed that, in my mind, would break. Maybe she's facinated at how well crafted my bed is.

Lol. That's so creepy. It's like she's deciding where's the best place to stab you for ditching her for another follower and leaving her at home. xD

If you have teh hose build on lakeview manor, lydia asks if she can be steward, so that way you have lydia as your steward for lake view And Raya as the new house carl is anothert option you could ve done ....

Actually thats the plan. Lydia has yet to ask to be the steward. I also have yet to be assigned wall guards but I expect that has something to do with my not having a steward to run my household.
