Real Women of Skyrim
Yeah. That's what I'm working on.
A woman in power or a woman with money? She'll probably wear makeup.
A woman working the fields or tending to a market stall? Erm, not as much.

But, to be fair, a woman who is in a position of power will be more likely to have frown lines than the person working the fields (who may have other features).

(Don't be offended by the title, it's merely a reference to a reality TV show in the US)

Olfrid Battle-Born, Noster Opaque-Eye... oops, I meant Eagle-eye, Loads. It's really going to be "your" preference alone. Me? If I were to set about the same task I'd be making them all take a shower (or bath). I mean, come on, Balimund? Does he ever wash?

If you're talking about the dirty skin, the XCE pack w/ clean skin[www.nexusmods.com] might be what you're looking for. I use it and it's wonderful. The bodies are clean but not altered much after that and the faces don't make the women look like models. It enhances the game and does it damn well.

Thank you for the suggestions!

EDIT: Also, the characters may still be ugly, but they'll be less ugly and at least a tiny bit more bearable to look at xD

EDIT2: kinda tempted to remove some types of makeup from women. "Less feminine females"? Frickle frackle YEAH.

Thanks for the recommendation, Feu Feu, but...

I'm not really a 'pixel man' and, for that reason alone, I could care less what they look like. I use CBBE Curvy (clothed) for some semblance of realism feet wise because the dreadful vanilla feet are, um.. dreadful. No, I don't have a foot fetish but I do have a blow up doll - and I was forever being reminded of her. Not really - lol, but now body parts don't 'catch my eye' as it were. :D

Oh boy, if you do that, be prepared for a big excrement-storm, including being called gay, ugly, feminazi, jealous fatty, whiny beeotch, man-hatin' lesbian or things like that.
This happens on like every mod that modifies the female characters to look the contrary of a "sexy piece of meat" or with any sign of "des-feminization", or if you make a previously skimpy armor less revealing.

> isn't straight
> doesn't see a problem with it
> however me kissing another girl is considered a problem to many men, unless it's for another man's enjoyment.

besides that, I can pull up some articles about the Nazi party to show how ridiculous people who say "Feminazi" are. And I don't feel like I'm ugly or whiny for wanting realistic women in my game. I can bet that if I made an armor mod (for male characters) that only consisted of a lacy thong, they'd have an issue.

EDIT: not saying i'm angry at you or disagree with you.

Now mods? Great!

Feel free to make your own appearence mods. Peoples preferences vary, so more is always welcomed. You are likely making portion of players very happy. :)

In that you are wrong. The most popular male armors are more revealing than female armors. They relay on certain popular male mod and lack the thong...

And this mod in question incidentally rhymes with thong, too!

About the armor, oh dear, that is quite... odd. Thank you for the correction.

I'm really want to create the female mod, but the idea is also very terrifying.
I know that not every male gamer is awful and I respect their right to have the mods that they want. However, I know that some will be awful. That's... society for me.

But you're right, I'm sure there's someone out there who wants a mod that isn't meant to be eyecandy (no rudeness intended to the creators of those mods- I know that texturing is a heckuva a lot difficult and so is changing every NPC... I may not like their work but they're still my fellow modders and I have respect for them).

As far as the actual modding goes, I feel like that while some of Skyrim's women can wear eyeliner and have that be realistic (Elisif, for example), I feel like it's less realistic for others (Peasants, warriors) to have the same makeup.

I am interested to see what you come up with. Do keep us posted.

I actually have to correct that a bit. I meant the most popular skimpy male armors. I am certain that Immersive Armors and several other mods in Nexus are more popular than the ones I mentioned.

It does.
Schlongs Prongs? was all my search turned up - well, it rhymes. But why! lol - it's just a game.

Good thing that on Nexus, you can block problematic users from your mod, delete their waste of comments and report them. Nexus is having little tolerance for flamers and trolls.

I'll wait for your mod to endorse it. Many of us will be happy to see more variety.
Go do it if you want to, I say. Do it primarily because you want your game to be that way and not for modding epeen. Release it after for people who'd want it too. A hit mod is never guaranteed but I can assure you that there will always be people who'll want your mod and appreciate your sharing of it.

Didn't realize that- awesome.

So I'm going through some of the females and I'm looking at things such as eyebrows (if a woman is a peasant or in the lower class, her eyebrows shouldn't be super tweezed), eyeliner/shadow (same with these things), lipstick, and warpaints and dirt. I'm not trying to make anyone look like a monster and I'll make sure they still look like themselves.

However, women in the upper class (jarls, etc.) will have some eyeliner or lipstick or both. They may appear "prettier" than they were.
I'd definitely be interested. One small suggestion, though, might be worth considering calling it something like 'less glamorous females/women' (the 'females' thing grinds my gears a little after too much time reading godawful MRA nonsense on other parts of the internets...) as it seems like you're toning down the at times ridiculous made-upness, rather than making the women 'butch' or anything - and people might expect that 'less feminine' = more masculine?

I feel like it depends on the person. If the woman is wealthy or a person in power, I think she'd be able to wear makeup and be a bit more "Glamorous" than someone who is working in fields all day long.
