Dwarven arrows or dwarven bows?
I want to get my smithing to 100. What is more efficent crafting arrows or bows?

Higher value items level your smithing faster.

Bows would get you there faster than the arrows ... but, craft too many bows is actually a waste because most merchants lack the gold to purchase what you have crafted "en masse" ... whilst crafting arrows is a better choice - you can use the ammo ... but, you don't need 99 bows.

On the other hand, I assume that you're at the point where you dont even need gold and that you stocked up the ingots.

If you want the smithing to 100 fast, try crafting jewelry.

I just crafted the full dwarven armor. Hard to sell in bulk, but I just sold two or three of them every time I got back to town.

Always craft daggers only. They are so light and easy to sell (and cheap to craft).

Bows are faster, but arrows are weightless.

If you have Heartfire then crafting building materials helps quite a lot. After that I advice jewelry.

Bows, you can't upgrade arrows.

You only need to do bows to like 70 smithing, from 70-100 you can just upgrade the bows you made before using 1 dwarven ingot.

Spamming daggers all day, then create super armor, and reset the smithing skill back to basic (getting all perks back)

Bows are the most efficient. Make as many as you can because Smithing grows based on the gold value of items made and they have the highest value for the material used.

No. That used to work but they fixed it long ago. Crafting iron armor is more efficient in terms of iron ingots. Your XP is based on the value created, and daggers are too cheap. Dwarven armor is good because you can get lots of scrap metal in dwemer ruins. Jewelry is also very good, so don't sell your gems, craft them into pretty trinkets.

thanks. i will go with bows because jewelry needs ore and it takes too long til they respawn

Just BUY all the iron ore and transmute it into gold.
