Shield size - does it matter?
I recently got the perk which allows me to block arrows with shield.
When I block, crouch, and there's an archer in front of me, arrows that hit the shield just bouce off.
But when he hits the edges of my character (those that are not visually blocked by shield) I see blood particles and my character screams for a second.

So, does the size of shield matter? Or all shields have the same pre-set size, only models alter?

Its more about timing than hiding all the time, but sometimes you can get unlucky.

Shields reduce damage by blocking. They don't stop it completely.

We are talking about arrows here.
When an arrow hits the shield, it doesn't do any damage at all. It just bounces off.
