What's your name, if it's translated to dragon language?
ever wondered, how you'd be named as a dragon in tamriel?
yeah, me neither...until 5 minutes ago and if you do wanna know (plus the knowledge of your name's meaning...if you already didn't knew) as well, do this:

1: google for your first name's meaning.
1.5: get a proper english translation of your name's meaning, if your name doesn't pop-up in english lists of name's meanings.
2: open this site: http://www.thuum.org/translate.php.
3: write the meaning of your first name into the upper box.
4: click translate.
4.5: if some word/s are still in english on the lower box, google for synonyms of it or simplify the meaning. (example: "the one who knocks" to "knocking one")
5: post the result here.

my dragon-name would be "vaal ovriil" - "The Bay Wreathed".
i like it. :D

Alun Mu'uliik. Ever Ruler.

Eero - Finnish form of ERIC.
Eric - From the Old Norse name Eiríkr, derived from the elements ei "ever" and ríkr "ruler".

I've been using the Thuum website for a long time. I even used it for my account name but in my haste I spelled it wrong. It sould be Saviik. In Dovahzul my name would be Reg Saviik, Lady Savior.

By the way OP, were you planning on a specific language, or just national language (in my case, english.)?

what exactly do you mean by that?
i couldn't find any english list, containing my name's meaning, probably because it's most common in central and north-europe (i'm from germany, btw), so i've just translated it's meaning from a german list to english and then to skyrim's dragon language.

well, the translation's probably not 100% accurate.
my name's meaning is "the bay wreathed" or "the laurel wreathed" and there isn't a dragon word for "laurel", but for "bay", which i guess does not, in dragon language, mean what it means in "bay wreath".
for example, "bay" is used in skyrim's main theme's phrase "to keep evil at bay" ("wah dein vokul ahst vaal").

i've just realized, besides that i'm feeling so nerdy right now, that my name's meaning is pretty fitting to dragons, since they're being created to rule and that if you'd made a shout out of it, by cutting "vaal ovriil" into 3 syllables, it translates to "bay trust monster". :cwat:
have i already mentioned how nerdy i'm feelin'?
i mean were you asking for the meaning of your name in any language or just your first language.
I'm having trouble finding out what my name means, as it's a female varient of "Christian"...

Christian - From the Medieval Latin name Christianus meaning "a Christian" (see CHRISTOS).
Christos - Means "anointed", derived from Greek χριω (chrio) "to anoint".

The second name might work. Thanks.
