Pressing Shift button - sticky keys
While playing Skyrim I've noticed after several times using the Shift button my game switches to Windows with a prompt of sticky keys.

I've already disabled this Sticky Keys several times, but even though this is disabled, this problem stays within Skyrim.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

That is a problem with windows. Skyrim doesn't use sticky keys.

Not to go off topic but just what do you both mean by sticky keys? If someone had said they had sticky keys then I would have told them to take their keyboard apart and clean it. No, I am not being funny and I presume this 'sticky key' is some odd term for a keyboard function, but what exactly?

When the window pops up that says Do you want to turn on Sticky Keys?, you click the link to Go to the Ease of Access Center to disable the keyboard shortcut. If you just Click NO, it will just ask you again next time. :-P

Just un-tick everything on the next page and press Ok.

That odd term "Sticky Keys" is already existing for years, but maybe only known by Microsoft. Should you use Mac I don't know is they use that :-)

Disabled everything, but the strange thing is that I only have this issue in Skyrim. For example Wolfenstein doesn't have this issue. So it looks like that some games disable the Sticky Keys function within their own application.

That's just strange. Once I disable StickyKeys, it stops popping up in all my games. I didn't know StickyKeys had game profiles.

Have you tried disabling everything like I mentioned, then restarting your PC? Also, maybe you need to do a Windows Update or something. Otherwise, it shouldn't be doing that.

I did it before disabling everything and confirmed, so normally indeed it should not pop-up again.
MS updates are all finished, quite some time ago actually.. Updates are automatically installed so I should not worry about that :-)

Next time before playing I'll try again to disable everything.
