Alternate Start-Live Another Life Not Loading

I recently booted up Skyrim (the original, not SSE or Legendary) and noticed I couldn't find Alternate Start in the mod loading list. I tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, and it says I need a patch for Legendary Edition even though the mod is for the original game? And when I subscribe to both, it gets stuck in an infinite loop where it tries to update and fails/restarts the update.

I can't find the mod for original game version on Nexus either. What gives?

Alternate Start-Live Another Life was removed from Nexus for the LE version by the mod author, it is only available for the SE game.

its still available for regular skyrim its just not on nexusmods anymore.

its on the afkmods. which is where people go to download it now.

OP, try that version of the mod. I am using it and it works great. I think there was another one called "Random Alternate Start" that got removed, but it was replaced with this version. Not sure if it was by the same or a different user, but this one's fantastic.

As I said earlier, the original "Alternate Start - Live Another Life " by Arthmoor was removed from everywhere for quite a few reasons he gave. It is only available for SSE.

again no. it wasnt removed from everywhere. Its on afkmods. I linked it in a previous reply. Its still available for both sse and regular skyrim.

You just have to go to afkmods to get it for regular.

My apologies, it was someone elses link that did not go to the original. It is good to know that Arthmoor has kept the LE one up, because from all the talk he was not going to keep it updated.
