FNIS showing 0 animations with 1 mod installed even though I have animation packs.

Before any of you start on me with the whole "Skyrim isn't a porn game get your boob discussion out" I'm only doing this so I can get a mod race to work properly. This all started because I wanted to use the Tsaesci Race (The one with an actual snake body and not that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ human version of it) and for whatever reason, whenever I try to create one, their main body (The bit below the torso.) Is missing and instead they have the standard Argonian tail hanging off the back. I thought this might be because I didn't have everything HDT needed in order to run properly, and now I'm here.

So I keep getting this whenever I run FNIS and click Update FNIS Behavior.

But it's not detecting any of that, I've tried googling this problem but there are either no solutions or no threads with this problem. Help would be appreciated.

Apparently there was an issue with Nexus not giving people the proper download with the last patch; so you might try redownloading just in case that was the case.

ok so I downloaded the version that specifically said it was for "Non premium users" because of nexus's distribution system. Installed that into the Mod Organizer, ran it. Still getting the problem.

Bump. Sorry about this, I normally don't bump my own topics but I really need help with this.

Well I don't use hdt personally because I'm on SE, but I'm not sure that any if the mods you listed should show up.


Try downloading an actual animated mod like pcea or sexy moves and see if they show up.


When you jump do you have the physics?

These are not animations - they just enable certain animation effects. What is appearing is FNIS is correct.

As to the problem with the Tsaesci Race, the best place to ask (or to look for an answer) is the mod's page - especially the posts.

Ok, so I tried everything, now the intro is bugged, I can't even make a new character, and when I try to use alternate start it doesn't work when I boot up SKSE. Then if I try to launch the steam version of SKSE, I get the alternate start, but I'm still having the no torso problem. I give up, sorry for wasting your time, I'm just going to do a clean install, and try one of the older files for this mod, ones without the damn HDT tails.

Hey-o, so the old version works, but you know what, it actually looks pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when I finally see it how it's supposed to look. On top of that, I'm starting to think that "Argonian" tail I was seeing on the HTD version WAS it's body, just really really small. Oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained right?

This post is over 2 years old, but I think I might have a fix. I was running the fnis tool from the wrong directory I ran it from my steam folder and it found all of the animations. No clue why there were 2 different folders...

Well, first you buy the game since you do not own SE.

ZeniMax is a huge company, so I don't see any reason to care whether they get paid. It's not like playing the game costs them anything.

I have a question why would you say that they don't own SE when this is on Oldrim/LE editons fourm not SE. I also Don't see how you know they Don't own Skyrim since their profile doesn't give info at all meaning its private. @fauxpas

Ok, here's a potential possibility.

I may have gotten confused over which forum I was responding in given I was active in both four years ago but had unsubscribed from oldrim's forum between the two posts.

Now, with that said, I know they do not own oldrim through Steam at least due to the lack of a mouse icon beside thier name.
