critter.psc, firefly.psc ctd

I am haunted by total game crashes usually following frequent lags that last like a minute or so. Papyrus shows a lot of critter and firefly coming up. I currently have no mods installed, only DLCs.
I cannot even open the most recent papyris file because it is 2.5GB big. I have no idea how to solve this problem

When the problems started did you had mods installed?

did the problem occur in save games or also in complete new games?

when in saves you could try a savegame cleaner. just shooting here in the blue, dunno if it would help

also for the file, could you delete it (or move it, when you wanna keep it) and let skyrim create another log? or does skyrim everytime create a 2.5GB log file? o.O

other than that, I have no ideas :/

Have you done the quest where you should go and find Seranas mother?
If so you may have one bug that comes from that place, easy to fix.

Dont clean the save if you have it, you need to stop the script from running first.

I will try the fix from the nexus forum. Whats the name of the quest with Serenas mother? Can´t really remember but have heard the name before.
Yeah I had mods but never had problems with the mods and did not change any of them for years. Now all are removed and it´s complete vanilla.
Only in savegames but in Papyrus it doesn´t say anything about a mod failure or missing mod data

Latest papyrus log is 300mb. I tried the critter fix and it worked. But it still mentions the firefly.psc and like 90% of the whole log ist just dumping stacks about which I have no idea what this actually is

Load order is as recommended in the unofficial patch. I have implemented the fix as well as cleared my savegames and played two hours know without any crash. Thanks very much folks!
Still haven´t figured out how to purchase property in falkreath though. I keep killing the bandits for the jarl but I wont get the dialogue option.

There's a couple things that can cause that.

1. Make sure you don't have any other radiant quests active. They block this quest for some reason.

2. If you joined the Dark Brotherhood and did the one assassination mission in Falkreath.

I read that already but there seems to be some kind of bug. But I think I can solve this on my own, no need to bother.
