[SOLVED] NPCs have no ID
While doing "The Tempel of Miraak" quest, I encountered the classic bug where an NPC (in this case Frea) will attack your follower because he/she accidently hit the NPC in the middle of combat.

Normally I would fix this by going into the console, selecting the NPC and setting their aggression to 0. However, when I tried to select Frea, the ID for the rocks behind her were selected instead.

After a few minutes of trying to reposition myself and the camera, I could not for the life of me select any NPC. I tried doing the PRID command with Frea's ID, however it said that it could not find anything with that ID.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Reload the save before you enter the place.
Or click on the npc and disable and enable.

Tried the first solution already, as for the second, I literally cannot select any NPC. PRID commands don't work on them either, the console says they don't exist.

You need to click them.
And serius, load one old save. IT will solve your issue.

Of course I need to click them, how else would I select them? And i've already loaded an old save.

If it is not fixed whit loading one old save that is not in the same cell. Then....

Odds are you got her refID wrong. It's xx017A0D, where "xx" needs to be replaced with Dragonborn's identifier. Clicking any other selectable bit of Solstheim's content should show you the two characters you need to use, as hers will be the same.
