Invisible armor on guards and some other NPCs

So I have a modded skyrim, some of those mods are visual enchancments like body replacers and new textures, no actual armor/clothing mods, and for some reason some NPC's clothes are missing, helmet, gauntlets, weapon, and boots are there but the main armor/clothes are invisible, they have them equipped in the inventory, but they just don't show, commands like "resetinventory" have no effect, I even installed the "Put on some clothes" mod but it also did nothing.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Do you really have no mods that change or/and replace the armors? Post your load order, then we'll see.

I have none, just the ones that affect the body itself, while I was trying to fix it I re-installed everything, now I'm in the process of getting just the body mods to work.

Update: With just the body mods things are fine, everyone has proper armor, which makes me extra curious on which mod actually messed things up...

again post the mods you do have they can be causing the problem too Hints "Body" and the armor is worn on the body

Most problems are load order related, the best advice i can give is to take a look at your texture or replacer mods to see if they have a FAQ which addresses your problem.

I actually managed to fix everything by re-installing the game and all mods from scratch, something was messed up and conflicted, whatever it was it's gone, still thanks for the will to help! x)
