archive size bigger than entire mod

can someone please help me ?

This is a mod issue. It looks like one or more of your mods are corrupted (i had this the other day)

Make a note of the name(s) of the mod(s) that cause that error warning to appear.

Unfortunately, you WILL need to unsubscribe from the mod(s) to remove their data from your computer.

Once this is done the game should run fine.

this has happened to several people and there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason as to which mods are affected. with me it was a mod called "spend dragon souls on perks".

...so there is no way to fix this then? Because im not finding a single account of anyone fixing it. Everyone just seems to hit a dead end and give up.

once I cleaned out steam workshop and restarted steam, error disappeared. your problem cause/cure may be different.

After uninstalling everything (including the game it self) and reinstalling the game and running it vanilla, it finally stopped giving me this error. However, I did't have any confidence that the error wouldn't just start right up again as soon as I added back my core mods.

So... I switched to Nexus.

I have not had any problems with this kind of error, and now I can finally use some of the mods that were too large to fit in the workshop anyway!

For me, not SkyUI, but after many attempts, it was a sound mod ("Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization") which was conflicting. Since I've deleted it, no more "Archive size...." message.

I had the experience that you can just download the mod from nexusmods and it will work fine

i must unsubscribe all the steam workshop mods thats automatic downloads then game gets start

than delet all

documents mygame Skyrim
appdata local Skyrim
steam stamapps common skyrim

because the loggin error in germany on the steam website,
i use the steam program on my pc. searching for workshop and than mods

improtendy unsubsribe the mods on steam, i thing your right thats is the problem
