try using paralyzing poison and shooting him. if nothing else it gives you chance to kill his allies first. if you have conjuration summon something to distract him
2- Get the Lord Stone near the Shrine of Mehrunes south of Dawnstar for 25% magic resist
3- Dodge his attacks, they are quite slow and easy to dodge
I wasn't complaining; I referenced that thread because it had several possible ways to answer your question about how to kill Malkoran.
In your situation, I would just reload the last save from before you entered the room, or more ideally, before you entered the temple, and come back once you're level 20.
That said, a quintessential mod for me is 'timing is everything'. Besides letting you delay certain quests that really should be done at a higher level, it also lets you space out the vanilla quests so you don't get inundated with all the dlc quests at the start of your playthrough. And yes, you can delay meridia's quest, along with all the daedric quests. I also like to use it to delay the hearthfire quest, because as-is it occurs at too low of a level for you to do the necessary house quests for two of the three hearthfire holds, which means you ALWAYS get the letter from Falkreath even though its supposed to be chosen randomly from all three holds. Personally, I set it for the mid 20s somewhere. The highest level quest (the one from Dawnstar) requires you to be level 22 to start it, just for a measuring stick. Of course, it would appear the quest still can't happen unless if you've done something for the other two Jarls before you get the quest, but either way I'm sick of getting that letter from Siddgeir in every single game.
Btw im level 14
Anyway thanks everyone
