HELP - Gamebreaking Bug with the Courier
I couldn't find anything similar on other forums. Before this happened the Courier already gave me letters and everything was fine.
But since yesterday every time the Courier spawns near me my character freezes, I can't move at all, I can't open the character menu nor use any items or weapons. In first person the hud is turned off and the camera is moving as if I was walking, in third person I can see that the arms of my character are turned inwards.

When I use the command "enableplayercontrols" I can walk again and open the character menu but can't use any weapon, I can't jump or sprint. I tried "tcl" or "tfc" as well and it did nothing. I tried to get into combat, different dialogue or make myself unconscious as well as fast traveling, nothing helped. I also tried "recycleactor" and "enable/disable" on the Courier ID but it didn't work.

I validated my files and reinstalled, nothing worked.

I played with a simple mod to skip the intro but this bug happens when I turn off that mod as well.

I still don't understand how that started to happen even though it worked fine before.

EDIT: While being able to at least walk around I talked with Runil and finished the quest "Deliver Berit's Ashes to Runil", that worked but after that I could not walk around again, but the hud was still showing.

I also disabled all mods to see if that fixes the issue but it didn't do anything.

Random Alternate Start - No Classes, No Main Quest
Dawnguard
HearthFires
Dragonborn
SkyUI
Auto FOV
No Fast Travel
No Essential NPCs

Just disabling/uninstalling mods will not fix an existing issue, you need to go back to a save made prior to having installed the disabled/uninstalled mods. For full info on this, see:
You CANNOT Remove Mods Mid-Playthrough - http://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/1520386297681801135/
(from pinned topic Helpful Links and References, Section 4, General Troubleshooting)

Also, I hope that is not your load order Alternate Start mods need to be place at the very bottom - in this case, it should be last.

In addition, I would be extremely careful about that No Essential NPCs mod (in fact, I would strongly recommend NOT using it). NPCs are marked essential for a reason - because they are needed to complete certain quests. If they are killed because their essential flag is removed, the quest will be broken - at the very least.

A final last word - The alternate start mod you are using is serious obsolete. Many additional updates to original Skyrim were made subsequent to the mod's release - including one complete DLC - Dragonborn.

You should use one of these, instead:
Alternate Start - Live Another Life - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9557

and it's associated mod
New Beginnings -- Live Another Life Extension - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70959

or possibly
Skyrim Unbound Reborn (Alternate Start) - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/98850/

Any of those things could be sufficient to cause the issue you currently have.

Oh, most importantly, you need the Unofficial Patch:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71214

It is absolutely essential, as it fixes literally THOUSANDS of bugs. See:

as for disabling mods in the middle of a playthrough could actually make it worse that happen to me with Oldrim (Original Skyrim) Now if it's a mod like Open Cities that is ok to disable in the middle of a playthrough it just disables the loading screens when entering cities

NO! Open Cities is absolutely NOT okay to disable - LOL! It does not just disable load screens - it overlays the existing cities with a second city that is in the exterior world - that is why there are no load screens. Remove it and you will break the game.

I had it in my game then had to disable it and still able to play the same playthrough and no issues (SSE). Was having issues with other mods not working right though.

Then you were fortunate, as the mod contains texture (non vanilla), mesh (non vanilla), sound, interface, and script files. Still, even if an individual does not suffer problems or issues, it's not something that should be suggested or inferred from that personal experience. And, the issues with regard to uninstalling mid mid-playthrough are explained and covered completely in the dedicated discussion linked in the pinned topic Helpful Links and References, Section 5, General Troubleshooting - You CANNOT Remove Mods Mid-Playthrough - http://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/1520386297681801135/

Are these all the mods you have installed? Or do you also have animation replacers and loose script mods as well?

Thank all of you for your replies. I guess I have to start another playthrough then. What a pity.

I played hundreds of hours in Skyrim with many more mods before and never had such a gamebreaking bug. I would just like to know where it originated from because I could not even find something similar on other forums.

I do not use any other mods as the above, it also is my correct load order. The Random Alternate Start I chose for different reasons: it does not have custom content added to it compared to Live Another Life and is fast and simplistic. In the description it was made clear that it has to be in the highest load order.

By the way: the no essential npcs mod does not make every npc non-essential but most of the essential npcs are killable excluding some very important ones so I don't think that's the cause of this bug. Even though it would make the most sense to me.

Since I experienced a similar result after the quest "Deliver Berit's Ashes to Runil" I was thinking it could have to do with the area or an npc around Falkreath. But these are just guesses.

What is said on the mod page for Random Alternate Start is "Load order does not matter", NOT highest in load order. However, while it may not matter as far as other mods go, no mod is EVER loaded before the DLCs - NEVER. NOT EVER. (Also, I would question his statement that load order does not matter as well, as based upon my experience and knowledge, it certainly does, and he even states that if you experience problems you should move the mod to the bottom of the load order - but perhaps for a small load like you have it does not matter.)

Anyway, sorry you have to start a new game, but it does happen.

Good luck!
