Sad news: The actor who voiced Arngeir (the Greybeard who mentors you) died today.

I never knew his name. I should have done research on who he was. RIP Christopher Plummer. His character was a great mentor to us as "The Last Dragonborn"

Christopher Plummer, the famous movie actor, was the voice of Arngeir?! How did I not know that?

Did you know about Esbern or Neloth?

Yeah I did about Esbern's voice actor (Max Von Sydow), and that was really sad too. But the voice actor for Neloth in Skyrim is still alive. At least according to his Wikipedia.

Yes, sorry. I just meant who they were. I'd forgotten about Max Von Sydow's passing.

A shame when great talent dies.
If you have ever seen "Sound of Music" you have seen Christopher Plummer aka Baron Von Trapp.

I've heard of it before but I've never seen it myself. It's a musical right? I'm not really a fan of musicals, but I can keep an enough of a open mind to watch it at least once.

Sad news. I just watched him in Knives Out the other day - a really fun tongue-in-cheek whodunit. That was released in 2019 and he looked remarkably fit for his years. RIP

That actually looks really interesting. And it was only from 2019. I'll have to watch that soon. It has a lot of other great actors in it as well.
