Unless you own all of Skyrim, Hearthfire, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn, the Legendary Edition patch will not work.
Your options are:
1. Live without the patch (not ideal, but workable), and live without the mods that require the patch.
2. Buy the DLC on Steam (links are in pinned topic "Helpful Links and References, first item in section 1). This is generally viewed as not cost effective.
3. Find a copy of Skyrim Legendary Edition on a reputable third-party website, which will almost certainly be cheaper than Steam. Mod to your heart's content.
4. If your computer will run it, buy Skyrim Special Edition. Its programming has been updated to 64-bit, is still supported, and comes with all the DLC already built in. If price is an issue, it usually is discounted during the Spring and/or Summer Sales. Mod to your heart's content.
Everyone talks about finding Skyrim Legendary Edition...I wonder if anybody has looked for the Elder Scrolls Anthology both have the same price tag and you get LE, Morrowind and whole lot more with the Anthology.
I have all the DLCs,
so does that mean I can just rename it?
Hope someone can help you, because I have used it and it works.
Remember seeing if someone has USKP installed that a script was needed to change dependencies.
Also I believe it has been esmified so it might give warnings. Cannot remember.
(Knowing what I am like I most likely ignored the warning, not advisable unless you are sure.)
Hope someone can help you more.
Nexus Mod Manager.
I looked for LOOT,
but it doesn't seem to have a classic skyrim version.
Alternatively, you could use the RND merged esp 2 and tell NMM to overwrite when prompted, but NMM has known problems with uninstalls if something goes wrong. Installing the RND_USKP-Patch is probably the safer option.
I decided to switch to iNeed because of another mod,
Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul,
which doesn't have RND support.
Thanks for the help though.
As for LOOT, you can get it from the Special Edition nexus page, and it will still work for Oldrim, although as GamerPoets says, it can be easier to install a separate copy for each game, though not required.
Here's the GamerPoets LOOT video, on the LOOT nexus page. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1918?tab=videos#lg=2&slide=0
Hope it helps.
OLDRIM XD
Thanks, i'll give it a try. o7
